This choice sets the tone, the jokes, and the questions themselves: for a grandma we ask about care and family rituals, for a colleague about work habits, for a child about games and dreams.
What are we making?
Story + illustrations A mini-book with pictures. A photo of the hero is required. We draw only after you approve the text. Story only Faster, no photo, no pictures. Without the hero’s looks the book is much less personal — this is the text version.
You can change your mind any time before you approve the final story.
How should the book look?
Comic Full-page pictures, short captions, and lines in speech bubbles. Fast and funny. Storybook Like a real book: richer text, an illustration beside it. Warmer and more grown-up — good for a mom, a grandma, a teacher.
What style should the pictures be?
This is the style of the illustrations themselves (the page background is chosen below). The hero in the photo stays recognizable in every style.
✏️ Pencil Our classic: a warm pencil comic, black and white with light hatching. 💥 Comic in the spirit of Marvel A bright superhero comic: bold outlines, saturated color, action. 🧸 3D cartoon in the spirit of Pixar Soft rounded 3D animation: warm light, like a frame from a kind film. 🏰 Classic cartoon in the spirit of Disney Warm hand-drawn 2D: flowing lines, soft colors, a storybook feel. 🌸 Anime Japanese animation: large expressive eyes, clean lines, bright color. 🎬 Cinema Like a film still: cinematic light and depth, almost a photo — and kind. 🎭 Caricature A kind caricature: lovable exaggeration, instantly recognizable and funny in a good way. 🎨 Watercolor A gentle book illustration: transparent paint and soft edges.
